Stamina handling is the sister company of Secondhandracking.com we offer a full project design service and can offer new and used equipment.
We supply Mezzanine Floors of all sizes, from 10m² to well over 15,000m², for all kinds of applications, including retail, industrial, commercial offices, warehousing and self-storage.
A Mezzanine Floor is a platform structure constructed from structural main beam sections supported on rolled hollow section columns, with cold rolled galvanised secondary joist sections to create a second or multi-tier floor.
The framework is pre-fabricated and drilled for a bolt together site assembly onto which the decking (38mm thick high density flooring grade particle board in a panel size of 2400mm x 600mm and are tongue and grooved along their long edges to ensure a flush ridge free surface and uniform spread of load) is securely fixed with self-tapping screws. Connection to the building floor is by means of expanding anchor bolts through a standard base plate.
The structure is a complete bolt-together system for speed of assembly and removes the necessity of obtrusive site welding.
Access is provided by a steel framed staircase construction with twin handrail 900mm high to each side with 900mm wide steel durbar plate treads.
Handrail is rolled hollow section 1100mm high series of posts bolted onto the top surface edge at appropriate centers to accept a top handrail and mid knee rail in zinc plated tube with pre-galvanised joints and elbows to suit.
Pallet gates can be installed for loading and unloading.
Building Regulations are required which we supply working drawings and calculations together with a completed form conforming to all current guide-lines, against which the local council will check and approve.
Following the installation of the floor a council officer will check the completed build against the application details which will be followed by a final inspection fee payable, the value of which is based on the value of the contract.
